Your information will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. We need to verify your information to insure there are no bogus users who abuse this site and waste our time and resources. It is also for the protection of our members, to keep people from applying with fake names and addresses and then using that identity to meet other people for devious purposes.

Yes. Once you are verified you will be given a password which will allow you to create your own events on the Event Calendar.

How do I let people know that I am interested in submitting an event and find out if they are interested and available on the date/time I want to ride?
The best way to gain interest in your event is to post a message on our Message Board Screen and wait for people to respond to your message. Then when you have enough interest in your event to actually make an entry on the Calendar you will already know who is interested.

Can I charge other riders a fee for joining my event.
No. This is a free site and no fees should ever be charged for an event that is organized using this site.

How does the "Suggest an Event" Forum work.
When you click on the SUGGEST AN EVENT button in the left hand navigation area you will be directed to a forum where you can post "suggestions" for upcoming rides/events.
Once on the forum screen look under the Suggested Events Banner for the line that says "Click Here To Suggest Events Or See Other Peoples Suggested Events".
After clicking on that line you can either respond to an existing "suggestion" or create your own. - Then once you have created enough interest in your event through the suggestion forum... you can enter the event on the EVENT CALENDAR Screen.

Why can't I put my event directly on the calendar without having to put it in the "Suggestion Forum" first?
If everyone put their events on the calendar before they had anyone interested in joining them for a ride then the calendar would soon fill up with events that no one was interested in joining. We suggest that you have at least two or three riders with interest in your event before posting it to the event calendar.

Of course, being an Old-Fart-Rider is an attitude, not an age or a judgement on what your driving... come on along we'd love to have you.

Sure, like we said before, all are welcome. In fact having a few cars along means more people and more coolers... Which can mean more fun... (but please don't drink and drive!)
